Follow these steps to get a perfect fit in any corner of the workshop.

Measure the niche

Take the measurement at the back (A) and front (B). The depth (C) is the length of the piece to cut.

Distribute

Use the slider to decide whether the out-of-square gap is on one side or split between both.

Cut with the Guide

Set your miter saw to the indicated degrees. The diagram shows which way to orient the cut.

Carpenter's Pro Tip

Always cut a bit less than calculated first to test the fit. It's easier to remove material than to add it.
